Citizens Advice Wirral Tackles Gambling Harms with Support Services and Strategy Workshop

Our dedicated support services offer confidential advice and aftercare for those directly or indirectly affected by gambling. This includes individuals struggling with gambling addiction, their loved ones, and those experiencing financial, emotional, or social challenges as a result. In collaboration with Wirral Public Health, Beacon Counselling Trust, and One Wirral CIC, we are hosting a follow-on Wirral Reducing Gambling Harms Strategy Workshop on:

 Wednesday, 8th January 2025
 1:00pm to 4:00pm
 Floral Pavilion, New Brighton

This workshop marks a year since The Hidden Addiction: Gambling Related Harm on Wirral event. Together with stakeholders, we aim to:

• Review and update the pledges made in November 2023.
• Increase participation in Beacon Counselling Trust’s Workplace Charter, encouraging more organisations to become signatories.
• Develop a new Wirral Reducing Gambling Harms Strategy, fostering collaborative efforts to prevent and reduce gambling harms locally.
