Citizens Advice Wirral Welcomes New Chair of Trustees, Karl Greaney
Karl Greaney Brings Over 13 Years of Leadership Experience in the Third Sector and Local Government, Strengthening Citizens Advice Wirral’s Commitment to Community Support
Citizens Advice Wirral is delighted to announce the appointment of Karl Greaney as the new Chair of Trustees, starting in November 2024. With extensive experience in the third sector and a deep commitment to helping individuals overcome challenges and improve their lives, Karl will oversee the organisation’s governance as it continues to provide vital support services to the Wirral community, empowering people to resolve their issues and move forward.
Currently serving as our Vice Chair and a valued member of the Trustee Board for over six years, Karl brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to this role.

Karl Greaney brings over 13 years of experience as a Trustee Director and Board Chair for various third sector organisations, including Wirral Development Trust and Wirral Play Council. His extensive background in governance and leadership and dedication to serving the Wirral community and supporting those in need makes him exceptionally well-suited to lead Citizens Advice Wirral. His expertise will be invaluable in helping Citizens Advice Wirral continue its mission of providing essential advice and social prescribing services across the Wirral.
