Social media
Why we use social media
We use social media to connect with our community and share important information about the work we do at Citizens Advice Wirral.
Social media helps us:
- Talk to people who use our services or might need our help in the future.
- Stay in touch with our staff and volunteers.
- Work with other local Citizens Advice offices.
- Share updates with journalists, policy-makers, and campaign supporters.
- Reach potential donors who want to support our work.
By sharing posts, joining conversations, and creating a space for people to connect, we can build a stronger, more supportive community.
Our community guidelines
To keep our social media a safe and respectful space, we ask everyone to follow these simple rules:
- Be respectful to others – no abusive, offensive, or discriminatory language.
- Stay on topic – keep conversations relevant to the post.
- Don’t share personal information about yourself or others.
- Avoid spamming or posting promotional content unrelated to our work.
- Follow the platform’s terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to remove posts or block users who break these rules.
We encourage the use of social media to help us engage with our community, but we are committed to making sure it’s a positive and safe space for all.
