Location: Home Working and variety of Wirral venues 

Salary: £19632

This exciting role will help people by working as part of a team of staff and volunteers, to provide information and advice by email, telephone, web-chat and Face2Face video conferencing, including outreach (if Covid 19 rules allow). 

Advisers will research all client options, complete basic form filling, explain rights and responsibilities, and negotiate with third parties. 

Skills required include good verbal and written communication skills, ability to use a range of IT systems and accurate recording skills.

Caseworker (Trainee may be considered)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced caseworker to join our dedicated Ask Us Wirral team of paid staff and volunteers. 

If you have experience of carrying out casework for individuals including benefits, housing, employment, debts, apply now.

You will deliver advice over the phone and other media, including Face to Face settings across Wirral including GP surgeries, community outreach locations and on occasion in individuals homes (if Covid-19 Rules allow) 

This exciting role, as part of Citizens Advice Wirral’s team, includes acting for the client where necessary and will include benefit appeal and tribunal work.

GMMAP Administrator/Assessor 

 

Location: Wirral 

Salary: £17,849 (Pro rata)
Hours: 28 hours per week

 

We are seeking a part time administrator/assessor to work as part of the Greater Merseyside Money Advice Project (GMMAP) Debt Advice team at Citizens Advice Wirral.  As well as completing administrative tasks such as typing, filing and taking minutes, the successful applicant will also complete debt assessments with clients.  As such effective communication skills are essential as is a willingness to work as part of a busy team.  

 

If this sounds like you and you also have the following qualifications and experience, we want to hear from you!

 

  • Level 2 qualifications (GCSE or equivalent)  in maths and English
  • At least one year’s experience working within an office environment or in an admin/finance      monitoring role.
  • Demonstrable experience of using a range of IT systems and packages confidently and competently including word-processing, databases, spreadsheets, email and the internet.
