Caseworker

Location: Wirral

Hours: 21 per week

Contract type: Fixed term until 31st March 2020

FTE Salary: £23,001 – Pro Rata Actual £13,800

(Trainee actual salary £13,110)

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced caseworker to join our dedicated Ask Us Wirral team of paid staff and volunteers. Consideration may be given to a Trainee who can demonstrate some experience and a willingness to develop the skills required for this role.

If you have experience of carrying out casework for individuals including benefits, housing, employment, debts, apply now.

You will deliver advice over the phone and face to face in settings across Wirral including GP surgeries, community outreach locations and on occasion in individuals homes.

This exciting role, as part of Citizens Advice Wirral’s team, includes acting for the client where necessary and will include benefit appeal and tribunal work.

Debt Caseworker

Location: Wirral

Salary: £23,628

Hours: 35 per week
Contract type: Permanent position.

 

Citizens Advice Wirral are looking for a dynamic debt caseworker to assist people to resolve their debt issues. You will empower people to manage their money issues and provide high quality debt advice.

You will be an excellent communicator who has experience of dealing with a range of people with different issues and needs. You will be able to prioritise own work, meet deadlines and targets and manage a caseload.

This exciting role, as part of Citizens Advice Wirral’s Money Advice team, will provide information and advice by email, telephone, and face to face.

Knowledge and experience of advice work is essential and skills required include good written and verbal communication skills, ability to use a range of IT systems and accurate recording skills.
