The Flourish Wellbeing Hub in Wallasey offers a welcoming, non-clinical space where you can find support for social, practical, and emotional challenges. Situated on the second floor of Victoria Central Health Centre, the Hub provides a drop-in service – please see the walk-up advice timetable for timings.
What is the Flourish Wellbeing Hub?
Flourish is a Social Prescribing Hub, a joint effort by six local charities – Citizens Advice Wirral, Involve Northwest, Age UK Wirral, Change Grow Live, One Wirral and Wirral Mind. These partners work together to provide a holistic support network, offering assistance in areas like housing, mental health, job support, managing addictions, and caring for loved ones. Drop by to speak with a team member about what support you might need.
How does it work?
When you visit, Flourish staff and volunteers will listen to your story and help explore the best options for you. Whether it’s advice on finances, managing stress, or finding community groups, Flourish connects you with services that can help you feel better.
Location and accessibility
The Hub is located at Victoria Central Health Centre, Mill Lane, Wallasey (CH44 5UF). Enter the building opposite the pharmacy, then either take the stairs to the top floor or use the elevators to reach Wing A on the second floor. Ring the doorbell outside the Hub, and someone will let you in.
Working with Citizens Advice Wirral to deliver the Flourish project has been hugely beneficial to supporting the Ministry of Justice in developing its understanding of the benefit of co-located services. We have been impressed by the dedication of its staff in helping members of the community who are seeking support with a variety of issues and by the professionalism they have all shown when working with stakeholders. Their approach has been wholly collaborative, allowing for open communication and being able to work through any challenges that have arisen.
