Walk-up advice sessions: Accessible support for your needs

Weekly calendar for walk up advice sessions

IMPORTANT UPDATE TO THE TIMETABLE: There will be no Gambling Support drop in advice at the St James Centre or Tomorrow’s Women between 6th and 20th August due to staff holidays. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Some of our walk up advice sessions are open to everyone (those marked on the timetable above with a star) and some are open to people who already use services at that specific location. Those open to everyone are at Flourish Wellbeing Hub, the St James Centre, Wirral MIND and Birkenhead Jobcentre.

Some sessions that are open to people who use services at that location are:

  • Sessions at the Family Hubs are designed for parents with children under 5 years old, providing targeted assistance during those crucial early years.
  • Sessions at Beechwood, Ballantyne, and Bidston are tailored for residents of those respective locations, ensuring local community support.
  • Our Tomorrow’s Women session is exclusively for women seeking assistance with their own gambling issues or requiring support and guidance for someone close to them dealing with gambling problems.

Our walk-up advice sessions as listed above, cater to unique needs, ensuring that you receive the support that’s right for you.

When looking at attending the sessions that are listed as every other week, it might be worth calling the venue before your visit to make sure you get the right week. The numbers for these venues are listed here –

If you live in or nearer to the Wallasey area then why not drop into the Flourish Wellbeing Hub in Victoria Central Health Centre when seeking support?

Pop in to have a chat! Their drop-in service, available Monday to Thursday from 10 am to 3 pm, allows you to speak to one of their volunteers about the difficulties you’re facing. You can learn about the services available to help you, and be referred to the services that can support you best.

Have a look at the Flourish Drop in Timetable to see if any of the drop in sessions would be helpful to you.
